In a small village in Banaras, there lived a poor boy named Raju. Raju’s mother had taught him the art of making Sanjeevani beads. Despite being young, he was very hardworking and enthusiastic.
One day, a big fair came to the village. Raju noticed that there was a high demand for Banarasi beads in the market. He decided to make Banarasi beads and sell them to earn money.
Raju asked his mother for some money and started preparing the beads. He made beautiful beads and took them to sell at the fair.
At the fair, people loved Raju’s beads, and he quickly sold them all. Raju was overjoyed because he earned the money he needed and made people happy too.
An old man asked Raju, “How can someone as young as you make such beautiful beads?”
Raju smiled and replied, “I didn’t do it alone; my mother taught me that no work is too small when our effort is great.”
Moral of the story: This story teaches us that the value of any work lies in the effort and dedication put into it. Raju showed that even at a young age, we can achieve important things by using our abilities wisely.
