Mohini lived in a village. Once, the village was full of trees, but lately, people had been cutting them down. Mohini didn’t like this at all. She knew that cutting trees would harm the environment.
One day, Mohini decided to take action. She gathered the village children and talked about saving trees. The children also disliked the tree-cutting. Together, they wrote “Save, Save” slogans on the trees.
Then, Mohini and the children prepared a play, showing how trees are vital to life. The villagers watched and began to reflect. They realized Mohini and the children were right.
Thereafter, tree-cutting in the village decreased. Mohini and the children were overjoyed. They decided to keep the village green together.
Moral of the story: Protecting nature is everyone’s duty. We must save trees to keep our environment pure.
