Pooja was a little girl who was afraid of many things—darkness, dogs, even loud noises. One night, the power went out, and Pooja began crying out of fear.
Suddenly, a light appeared in Pooja’s room. She saw a tiny fairy in sparkling clothes with colorful wings. The fairy patted Pooja and asked, “Pooja, why are you crying?”
Pooja explained that she was scared of the dark. The fairy smiled and said, “There’s nothing to fear. Even in the dark, there are beautiful things—stars, the moon, and fireflies’ glow.”
Then, with a wave of her hands, the fairy spread a soft light in the room. Pooja realized that things could still be seen in the dark. Slowly, her fear began to fade.
The next day, Pooja wasn’t afraid to sleep alone. She thought the brave fairy was always with her. Gradually, her fears of other things diminished too.
Moral of the story: There’s a little bravery inside everyone. You just need to find it.
