The evening was setting in. Meena stood alone at the bus stop. Nearby, a lively young man, Rahul, was humming while waiting for the bus. Suddenly, Meena’s bag of books tore, scattering papers everywhere. Embarrassed, Meena began picking them up. Rahul stepped forward with a smile, saying, “No worries, let’s gather them together.”
In no time, laughing and chatting, they collected all the papers. Meena was grateful for Rahul’s help. The bus arrived, but Rahul realized his bus went in a different direction. Still, he helped Meena board and smiled, “Nice books, what are you reading?” Meena shared with a smile.
Though their paths diverged, that brief moment of help and conversation brightened their day.
Moral of the story: Small acts of kindness and help can make life easier and more beautiful. Even if paths differ, the impact of good deeds lasts long.
