Arya loved reading. One day, while going through her grandmother’s belongings, she found an old book. Opening it, she saw beautiful pictures of colorful birds, with each image accompanied by the bird’s name and some information.
Arya loved the book. She asked, “Dadi, is this your book?” Her grandmother smiled and said, “Yes, dear. When I was young, I loved looking at this book too.”
For the next few days, Arya and her grandmother sat together with the book. Dadi explained the sounds each bird made and where they lived. Arya found her stories fascinating.
A few days later, Arya spotted a colorful bird on the balcony. Checking the book, she discovered it was a cuckoo. Excited, she ran to her grandmother and said, “Dadi, I saw a cuckoo!”
Moral of the story: Books are a treasure trove of knowledge. They help us learn new things, and reading together makes learning even more enjoyable.
