Waiting at the railway station, Asha began to feel nervous as her train was about to leave. Suddenly, an elderly woman rushed up and said, “I lost my ticket. Do you have an extra seat?” Asha checked her ticket and saw she had an extra seat. Smiling, she said, “Sit down, Aunty.”
During the train ride, they talked, and Asha learned that the woman was heading to a relative’s house but was distressed about losing her ticket. Asha reassured her and helped her upon reaching the station.
The woman was very grateful and blessed Asha. Asha felt happy for helping someone.
Moral of the story: It’s never too late to help others. Even small acts of kindness can make someone’s day.
