A little doll had gone missing. Riya was crying while searching for it when Munmun, a passing cat, spotted the doll. It was in the hands of a small child, laughing loudly. Munmun realized the toy had mistakenly ended up with the child.
Thinking quickly, Munmun rubbed against the child’s feet, hoping he’d let go. The child, startled, stepped back but didn’t release the doll. Munmun didn’t give up. She meowed loudly to grab his attention and stood near the doll.
Surprised, the child slowly let go of the doll and ran off. Munmun happily picked up the doll and took it to Riya, purring softly. Riya, seeing her doll, was astonished and hugged Munmun, saying, “Thank you, Munmun!”
Moral of the story: Kindness knows no language or species. A helping hand can be extended even without words.
