A bird named Chanchu lived on a tree, always enjoying flying in the sky. One day, she saw a golden fish, Sona, in the lake below.
Chanchu called out, “Sona, why do you stay in the water? Try flying with me and see how beautiful the world is!”
Sona laughed and said, “Chanchu, you wouldn’t understand the joy of swimming. This water is my home.”
Chanchu was puzzled. She said, “There must be nothing to see in the water. From the sky, I can see forests, mountains, rivers—everything.”
Sona explained, “You see the beauty of the sky; I see the beauty of the water. Every place has something to offer.”
Chanchu realized Sona was right. She returned to her tree, reflecting that everyone finds happiness in different things.
