A bird lived in her nest on a tree. One day, a naughty monkey came swinging on the tree and began shaking her nest. The bird, frightened, pleaded with the monkey to stop.
The monkey ignored her and laughed. Angrily, the bird said, “If you like my nest so much, make your own. The jungle is vast, and there are plenty of trees.”
The monkey realized his mischief was wrong. Feeling ashamed, he climbed down. A little further away, he felt lonely and understood the bird was right.
The next day, the monkey wandered among the trees but couldn’t find a suitable spot for his nest. Finally, he returned to the same tree, apologized, and asked the bird for help. The bird forgave him and agreed to help him build a nest.
Moral of the story: Troubling others brings no benefit. It’s better to think and act wisely than to regret later.
