Ravi was a little boy who loved painting. He would sometimes make everything colorful—books, walls, even his T-shirt.
One day, Ravi took his artwork to school, hoping everyone would like it. But some children laughed. Feeling hurt, Ravi sadly hid his paintings.
At home, he went to his grandmother. Seeing his gloom, she asked what had happened. Ravi shared everything. His grandmother looked at his paintings and said lovingly, “Ravi, your art is special. Every artist has their own style.”
Encouraged by her words, Ravi felt happy. The next day, he started painting again, using his favorite colors and letting his imagination soar. A few days later, at a school art exhibition, Ravi displayed his work. This time, all the children praised his art.
Moral of the story: Sometimes others’ opinions can discourage us, but we should trust our art and ourselves.
