It was a hot afternoon. Rajan, exhausted, sat under a tree. The tree’s shade brought him much relief. Just then, an old woman approached and asked for water. Rajan gave her his water bottle.
After drinking, the old woman thanked him and said, “Son, you’ve done a great deed. Like this tree, you’ve eased someone’s fatigue.” Rajan felt good. He realized that, like a tree, a person can also be a source of comfort for others.
Moral of the story: We can all be a support for others. Even a small act of help can change someone’s life.
